Ktima Pavlidis is situated in Kokkinogia, Drama, at the foot of Mount Falakro, in close proximity to Aggitis Cave and Falakro ski resort. It was created in 1998 by Christoforos Pavlidis, who concluded his persistent search by selecting this area to set up his vineyard and winery.
Ktima Pavlidis’ vineyards extend throughout Kokkinogia and Perichora in Drama. Both of these areas were well known for their vineyards from antiquity until the mid twentieth century. In the effort to promote all the characteristics of the varieties that thrive in the region’s microclimate, extremely low yields per hectare are preserved, and all cultivation care is carried out by hand. Ideal harvesting time is decided using modern techniques (such as irrigation according to RDI standards) and by monitoring the necessary meteorological data.
